Eurovision Sports Games

Eurovision Sports Games

Once a year we replace the studio with ski slopes, leave the microphones, TV cameras, editing rooms, broadcasting vans and desks and come together for a week in the mountains of one European Country to meet, compete and spend time with each other. There is no limit to age or performance class.

Eurovision Sports Games in Winter (called Winter-Euro) means fair ski competition in disciplines like Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G, individual and relay cross-country skiing. In Addition to the daily races the participants dine together and share mutual events. Gaining new experience from new resorts, countries and participants is the aim.

But above all: the Eurovision Sports Games are an opportunity to establish connections within the EBU community that will benefit both the individual and the companies.

The Winter-Euro was established in the 1970s for employees from European Public Service Broadcasters and usually takes place in March in one of the participating countries.

2018 the German Team (ARD and ZDF) sincerely invites all the other nations to come to the 47th European Winter Games in

Reit im Winkl in March 04.-11.
